General interests of Fort Dodge Stoneware Collectors Society club members include salt glazed stoneware with cobalt decorations, blue & white pottery, bristol glazed stoneware, or more specific-item collecting as miniature jugs, crock sets, advertising jugs, items from specific potteries, brick & tile company items, or collecting the many decorated flower pots with appliques as manufactured  by White's Pottery Works. Also of interest is the history and products of the many potteries that flourished throughout the Midwest during the 19th and early 20th centuries.

Below are some web sites you may find enjoyable that represent fine examples of some Midwestern stoneware and pottery  companies and the fine utilitarian stoneware & art pottery they produced.
